Propane is the fuel out here
Brevard sits in propane country — the mains don't reach most of the cabins around Connestee Falls, Sherwood Forest, and the Pisgah edge, so a gas fire feature here means a tank and a properly connected regulator, piping, and appliance. That's licensed work, and it's ours: we set the system so it burns hot and clean at your elevation. Propane carries more energy per unit than natural gas and needs its own orifices and pressures, and getting that right is the difference between a crisp flame in the listing photo and a sooted-up glass that reads neglected.
Rain is the enemy of an open hearth
