Terrain Sets the Vent Path

Direct-vent runs coaxial pipe straight out a sidewall — no chimney required — which sidesteps a difficult or tight chimney chase entirely and stays safe in a snug home. Where a masonry firebox already exists and the flue's sound, an insert with a liner is the move instead.

Fuel and the Line

Marshall is mixed-fuel. Where a natural gas main reaches the house, an existing stub keeps the fuel line cheap; out on the propane properties we connect the regulator and set the appliance for LP, coordinating the tank with your supplier. Getting to the meter or tank across a steep lot is its own labor line — one more reason the terrain, not just the appliance, drives a Marshall quote.
