How much does it cost to run a gas line for a fireplace?
Around Candler, plenty of homes out in Hominy Valley run on propane, so a fireplace line often starts at a yard tank — while some newer subdivisions can tie into a gas line. Which one you're on, and how far the source sits from the firebox, sets the cost. A gas fireplace here typically runs $3,500–$8,000 installed, line included.
Propane or a subdivision tie-in
Candler sits in propane country, and out in Hominy Valley and Sand Hill many homes draw off a tank rather than a street main — the line runs from that tank to the firebox, often partly buried, and its distance drives your number. Fast-growing newer subdivisions are the exception, where a gas line may already be close by. Either way we size the pipe to the appliance and, for propane, set the regulator and pressure correctly; your supplier handles the tank while the licensed piping and connection are ours.
