Every linear unit we carry is a sealed, direct-vent design — combustion air in and exhaust out through a pipe in a sidewall or roof, no chimney required — which is why they drop so cleanly into rooms that never had a fireplace. The gas line, framing dimensions, venting run, and permit are our lane as a licensed gas contractor.
