The Craft of a Clean Install

We measure the firebox and the room to size the appliance to the actual heat load, confirm every clearance to combustible framing and finishes, and plan a venting path that drafts clean — critical at WNC's elevation, where a flue that works in the valley may need different height on a ridge. We level and seat the unit, terminate the vent correctly, and, on gas models, connect and pressure-test the fuel line as the licensed crew we are. Then we don't just walk away: we run a full burn-and-safety test and hand off a fireplace that lights on the first try and heats the way it should — including when the grid goes down.
