For gas units we test the ignition and flame-sense circuit, read gas pressure, service the pilot and burner, and reseat logs and embers so the flame looks right and burns clean. For wood models we inspect door gaskets, baffles, firebrick, and the flue, and check draft so the stove burns efficiently and safely. We fit genuine Regency parts to protect the appliance's certification. A neglected fireplace is a fire and carbon-monoxide risk, so we also confirm the venting is sealed and drafting — and since a healthy Regency runs without grid power, keeping it serviced means dependable heat when the next WNC storm knocks the lights out.
