See-through units are the most framing-sensitive fireplaces we install: the cabinet must sit dead-level and plumb so both glass fronts seal, and finishes on each side have to respect noncombustible clearances. Most two-sided models are sealed direct-vent and can't side-vent, so we route the flue up through the roof, a detail we confirm early. We pull permits and balance the flame on both faces before finishing.
