Are Empire fireplaces made in the USA?

American-made, and it's been that way a long time

Empire has been a Belleville, Illinois manufacturer for the better part of a century. Its direct-vent and vent-free gas fireplaces, vent-free heaters, gas log sets, and the dressier White Mountain Hearth models all trace back to U.S. production. If domestic manufacturing is on your checklist, Empire clears that bar.

For a lot of homeowners the made-in-USA question is really two questions — where it's built, and whether parts will still be around in ten years. Domestic manufacturing tends to help on both counts, since a stateside parts pipeline is usually easier to keep fed than an overseas one when a unit needs service down the road.

Made in the USA isn't rare in hearth

It's a common assumption that quality means imported or that domestic means budget — neither holds in this industry. Plenty of the field is American-built. Among the lines we carry, Kozy Heat is built in Minnesota and Real Fyre's gas logs are made stateside, so you don't have to compromise on brand to buy domestic. Valor and Regency round out the cold-climate, outage-ready end of what we stock.
