Many Backgrounds. One Standard.

Are some fireplace brands or models faster to get than others?

Yes. Everyday workhorse models — like Napoleon's best-selling Ascent line — move fastest because they're built in steady volume. Specialty pieces such as Heat & Glo designer fronts, hand-built Mendota luxury units, or custom linear finishes carry longer factory lead times. If your timeline is tight, we'll point you to an in-production model that fits without a two-month wait.

High-volume versus specialty

The pattern is consistent across the lines we carry. High-volume, value-and-everyday models — the Napoleon Ascent, a practical Heatilator Novus meant as a solid first gas fireplace — are built continuously, so they come in quickly. The luxury and design-forward end runs slower by nature: a Mendota FullView is hand-built, a Heat & Glo designer front is essentially made to order, and a zero-electricity Valor is a lower-volume specialty piece. None of that is a knock on those units; it's just how a made-to-spec appliance reaches you versus a standard one.

What slows even a common model

A normally fast model can still stall if you spec it a particular way. A custom glass, a specific interior media or log set, or an upgraded front turns a stock configuration into a special order, and a backorder on one small component holds the whole unit. The closer you stay to a base configuration, the faster it tends to come in. When timing matters, that trade — a slightly simpler spec now versus a specific look in two months — is worth talking through.

We match the brand to your timeline

If you need heat in three weeks, we're not going to sell you a two-month wait and cross our fingers. The right appliance beats the priciest one every time, and when the clock is tight it beats the slowest one too — so we'll show you an in-production model that hits your date and still does what you need.
