Mills River, North Carolina

Can installers deliver and install a heavy fireplace or stove at a home with a steep gravel mountain driveway?

Yes — Mills River's rural large-lot properties, many of them on propane out past the gas mains, are everyday territory for us, and a long gravel farm drive doesn't slow the install. We plan the access to the door, move the heavy unit, and set the propane appliance up correctly.

Propane done right on a big lot

Much of Mills River runs on propane, which burns hotter per unit than natural gas and needs the correct orifices and pressures — a wrong-fuel setup soots and underperforms. We connect the regulator and piping and set the appliance up for LP, with the tank itself coordinated through your propane supplier. Cold-climate propane units suit these homes, and the whole gas side is permitted with Henderson County and met by the inspector.

On a spread-out farm lot the drive can be long before it's steep — either way we plan the vehicle and the carry ahead of the visit.

Room for outdoor fire, too

The open Mills River valley and its farmland-and-forest lots are made for outdoor living, and on cool mountain evenings a gas fire pit or outdoor fireplace earns its keep most of the year. Plan those in late spring, before entertaining season. Whether it's an indoor stove up a gravel drive or a patio fire feature, it's one licensed crew handling the gas side.
