How much does a ton of wood pellets cost and how long does it last?
Getting a ton of pellets to a Marshall home can be half the challenge — many houses here cling to steep hillsides with tight, narrow access above the French Broad, and fifty 40-pound bags is 2,000 pounds you may be carrying up a grade. Once stored, a ton lasts a few weeks to a couple of months on main heat, priced by grade and season.
