We set the regulator, run and pressure-test the piping — buried and outdoor-rated where the tank sits away from the home — and coordinate the tank itself with your propane supplier. That distance-to-tank detail is a real cost driver, so we measure it honestly at the assessment.

The approval question comes first, though. HUD-code homes can only take appliances listed for manufactured housing, and we sort those from the pretenders before quoting. A wood stove with the approved kit is possible if you want fully grid-free heat, but the clearances are strict in a compact floor plan; for most Mills River homes, sealed propane gas with millivolt or battery-backup ignition covers the outage question with less sacrifice.
