Many Backgrounds. One Standard.

Can I change or cancel my fireplace order after paying the deposit?

Usually yes, if you tell us early — before the unit is ordered from the factory. Most fireplaces are special-ordered for your specific job, so once we've placed that order with the manufacturer, changing the model or backing out gets harder. Call us the moment you're reconsidering and we'll walk through your options honestly, no pressure.

The timing that changes everything

There's a clean line in the process: before the appliance is ordered from the manufacturer, and after. Before, you have real flexibility — swap the model, change the fuel setup, adjust the plan. After the factory order is placed, the unit is being built or allocated specifically for you, and that limits what can be undone. The sooner you flag a change, the more room there is to make it.

Why the deposit exists in the first place

The deposit isn't an upsell — it's what lets us order a fitted appliance for your home. These aren't shelf items; a Napoleon Ascent, a Heat & Glo great-room anchor, or a Valor with no circuit board is ordered in the right size, front, and fuel for your opening. The deposit secures that commitment on both sides. We keep the terms plain and quoted upfront before anything is placed.

If you're second-guessing the model

The best cure for buyer's remorse is seeing it burn before you commit. Come to the Asheville showroom, watch the flame, feel the heat, and compare linear against traditional. We'd rather get you the right appliance than the most expensive one — so if you're unsure, tell us early and we'll help you land on the one you won't want to change. Call (828) 545-0525.
