How much does it cost per hour to run a gas fire pit?
In Canton, the fire-pit conversation starts with something more important than the hourly rate: after the Pigeon River flooding, any outdoor gas line and connection needs a careful look before you rely on it. Once it's sound, the cost is modest — on the natural-gas main it's metered therms; on propane it's about two-thirds of a gallon an hour on high, less dialed down.
