Arden's established Skyland and Royal Pines neighborhoods are full of tired, open masonry fireplaces — the kind that look nice and quietly pull warm air up the chimney, giving up more heat than they make. Dropping in a sealed direct-vent insert changes the whole equation: the fire is contained, the heat stays in the room, and the room's footprint doesn't change — the tired firebox just starts making heat instead of losing it. Propane where the main stops
Most of Arden sits on a natural-gas main, so propane comes into play on the outlying lots and pockets the line skipped. There the tank does what a meter does elsewhere — a supplier sets and fills it, and it sits discreetly in the yard while we route the buried line for the shortest safe path to the hearth. We handle the regulator, the line, and the appliance connection: licensed gas-piping work, permitted with Buncombe County and pressure-tested. A showroom or a mason can sell the insert, but only a licensed gas contractor can legally fuel it.
