What is a freestanding gas stove?
A freestanding gas stove is a self-contained heater that sits out on the floor — like an old cast-iron wood stove, but fueled by natural gas or propane. It's a finished appliance on all sides with a glass door and real flame, vented directly out a nearby wall or up through the roof. No fireplace, no mantel, no masonry chimney required.
