Are fireplaces and installations cheaper in the spring and summer off-season?

Not necessarily cheaper, no. Our pricing is driven by the job itself — the unit, the venting run, how far the gas line has to travel, permits, and site factors — not by the calendar. You won't automatically pay less in July. What spring and summer really save you is time and stress: an open calendar, faster scheduling, and no fall-rush wait. The estimate is free any month.

What actually sets the price

A fireplace install is priced on real cost drivers: which appliance you choose, the length and complexity of the venting, the distance the gas line has to run, the permit, and the specifics of your home. Those don't get cheaper because it's April. A gas fireplace typically runs $3,500–$8,000 installed depending on the unit, venting, and how far the gas line travels; a fully vented gas or wood fireplace with a new fuel line and chimney runs $4,000–$12,000.

The only way to know your number is an in-home assessment — and that's free every month of the year. We don't run calendar-based sale pricing, so nobody's holding out a summer discount you're missing.

The real off-season savings are in time, not dollars

Where the warm months genuinely pay off is scheduling. In spring and summer our calendar is open, the permit and inspection move without the fall backlog, you have time to compare units burning in the showroom, and a special-order model can arrive without eating into your heating season.

By September and October, everyone wants heat at once. You're not paying more then — but you may wait longer and have fewer date choices. That's the cost of the fall rush.

If budget is the real question

The honest lever isn't a seasonal sale — it's financing. We offer financing for qualified buyers through Wells Fargo, subject to credit approval, so the timing of your project doesn't have to hinge on one lump sum.
