Across most of the city — North Asheville, Montford, West Asheville, Biltmore Village, and the newer South Asheville subdivisions — a natural-gas main already feeds the house. That's the starting point: we branch off your existing service, run a properly sized line to the patio, and set a shutoff you can reach without leaning over the flame.

Because the fuel is usually right there at the meter, an Asheville fire-pit line is often a one-day job rather than a coordination project. No propane tank to site, no delivery schedule to work around — just an unlimited feed to the pit.

Two very different backyards

Montford and North Asheville sit on older lots with mature trees, tighter setbacks, and original masonry out back — the trench route matters, and we plan it to protect roots and hardscape. Newer South Asheville patios are usually a cleaner straight shot from the meter.

Either way the finish is the same: a clean-face outdoor gas pit, or a gas ring dropped into a mason's stone surround, fed by a line that's buried, valved, and tested.

Right down the road, and licensed for it

In North Carolina, connecting or extending a gas line is licensed work — a landscaper can build a beautiful pit, but only a licensed gas contractor can legally put fuel to it.
