What is a see-through (double-sided) fireplace and how does it work?
A see-through (double-sided) fireplace has glass on two opposite sides, so a single firebox serves and is visible from two rooms at once — say a living room and a dining room. One fire, two views. A see-through fireplace is built into a wall that divides two spaces, with glass on the front and the back instead of a solid rear panel.
