Where can I get replacement parts for a Valor fireplace?

Fairview is propane country, so before we touch a Valor part we confirm the unit's set up for LP — the orifice and pressure differ from a gas main. Steady Flame sources genuine OEM Valor parts through the dealer channel and services every major brand, 15 minutes east. On these millivolt units the fault is usually a thermocouple, thermopile, or valve.

Propane on wooded rural lots

Fairview's large, wooded lots run mostly on propane, with wood heat popular alongside. On a propane Valor the millivolt guts are the same as any other, but the fuel-specific pieces aren't — an LP orifice and regulator setup, not a natural-gas one. Fit the wrong part and it soots and underperforms, so we read your fuel off the rating plate before ordering anything.

Few parts, genuine only

A Valor has no blower and no circuit board, so the suspects are the pilot assembly, thermocouple, thermopile, gas valve, remote receiver, and glass — most of them inexpensive. We source them genuine through Valor's authorized dealer channel; aftermarket valve or ignition substitutes can compromise the warranty and the safety of the unit. Common parts ride on the truck, so most repairs close in one visit east.

Wood-side reminder, gas-side rules

With so many wooded Fairview lots, creosote is the leading chimney-fire cause without a fall sweep — so if you run wood too, get it swept. On the gas side, any part swap is licensed work in NC, permitted with Buncombe County and pressure-tested. Service your Valor before the cold. Call (828) 545-0525.
