Dimplex is a brand of Glen Dimplex Group, a large privately held company based in Ireland. Its North American hearth line is engineered and backed by Glen Dimplex Americas, headquartered in Cambridge, Ontario, Canada — the arm that runs the dealer, parts, and warranty network here. So the brand is Irish-owned, but the units we install are designed and supported by a real North American company, not a no-name offshore label.
The company behind the name
Glen Dimplex is one of the world's largest makers of electric heating, and Dimplex is its flagship hearth brand. That heritage matters: the reason Dimplex flame effects — Opti-myst, Revillusion, Multi-Fire — look better than the field is decades of R&D in electric heat and lighting, not a hearth company bolting an LED strip behind glass.
In North America, the hearth business runs through Glen Dimplex Americas out of Cambridge, Ontario. That's the group that supports dealers like us with parts, warranty, and the current model lineup.
