Who sells Kozy Heat fireplaces near me?

In Maggie Valley, Steady Flame Fireplaces is your Kozy Heat dealer and installer, 40 minutes west of our Asheville showroom in Haywood County. At 3,000-plus feet, Maggie is propane-only and cold — and its cabins and rentals need a fireplace that lights instantly for guests. Kozy Heat's Springfield 36 fits that exactly. Call (828) 545-0525.

Propane-only, at 3,000 feet

Maggie Valley is one of the coldest communities we serve and there's no natural-gas main up here — it's propane country, full stop. The Springfield 36 is Kozy Heat's LP direct-vent heater, American-made in Minnesota and configured with the orifices and pressures propane demands. Propane also burns hotter per unit than natural gas, so the setup has to be exactly right; a wrong-fuel install soots up and underperforms, which is the last thing you want in a house that's genuinely cold for much of the year.

Idle for weeks, then instant for guests

So many Maggie fireplaces sit in vacation rentals and cabins — dark for weeks, then expected to light on the first click when guests walk in on a cold night. A sealed gas Kozy Heat delivers that: flame at the flip of a switch, no wood to haul, no cold-start smoke, no fire-building for a renter who's never done it. The catch is the off-season — spiders and dust clog a pilot assembly over weeks of sitting idle, which is why we push pre-season service before your peak rental months.

The drive, the tank, the permit

Maggie is 40 minutes out and 3,000 feet up, so preventive service beats waiting on a breakdown mid-season when parts and a truck are farthest away. We're a licensed gas contractor: we coordinate the propane tank with your supplier, run and pressure-test the line, pull the Haywood County permit, and meet the inspector. Kozy Heat is dealer-only, so come see one at the Asheville showroom, ask for a free in-home assessment, or call (828) 545-0525.
