Many Backgrounds. One Standard.

Will a fireplace dealer repair or service a brand they don't carry?

We do — repair is brand-agnostic. You don't have to have bought it from us, and it doesn't have to be a line we sell. We service all major hearth brands, including ones we don't stock in the showroom like Lopi, Jotul, HearthStone, and Quadra-Fire. Gas or wood, we'll diagnose it and quote before any work begins.

Selling and servicing are two different jobs

Our showroom carries 11 brands — Napoleon, Heat & Glo, Kozy Heat, Valor, Mendota, Heatilator, Majestic, Regency, Superior, Real Fyre, and Dimplex — but our service truck fixes far more than that. A huge share of gas fireplace repairs come down to universal components: thermocouples, thermopiles, igniters, gas valves, blowers, snap-discs. Those cross brand lines, and our NFI-certified techs work on them every week.

It's the same story on the wood side — dampers, firebrick, gaskets, and liners aren't brand-specific problems. A Jotul stove and a Regency both need a clean flue and a tight seal to draft right, and neither of those fixes cares whose logo is on the door.

Where the brand does matter

The one place make and model come into play is model-specific parts — the glass panel, a proprietary log set, a particular blower housing. Those get sourced by exact model, so we identify your unit first. If a part turns out to be discontinued, we'll tell you honestly and talk through options rather than chase a dead end. We won't nickel-and-dime a lost cause.

On an older orphaned unit, that conversation is sometimes a repair-versus-replace one — a hard-to-find board on a twenty-year-old firebox can cost more than the unit is worth, and we'd rather you hear that straight than pour good money after bad.

The gas work is the same either way

No matter whose name is on the firebox, the fuel side is licensed work — connecting or extending the gas line, checking the venting, verifying pressure. In North Carolina that has to be a licensed gas contractor, and that's our lane. Everything's quoted upfront before we start, no mystery charges. Call (828) 545-0525 with your brand and model and we'll tell you what we can do.
