Can I see fireplaces burning in a showroom before I buy?

Yes, and no town has an easier time of it than Asheville — our showroom is right here at 629 Emma Rd in West Asheville. You can watch a Napoleon, a Valor, and a Mendota burn side by side over a lunch break, then picture them in a Montford parlor or a South Asheville great room the same afternoon.

Two Very Different Asheville Homes

Montford, North Asheville, and the older West Asheville streets are full of original masonry fireboxes — big, drafty, and pulling warm air up the flue. If that's you, ask us to fire up a sealed insert like Napoleon's Oakville X4 set into a display opening, so you can see how much tighter and hotter a lit insert reads than the open hole you have now.

South Asheville's newer construction wants something else entirely — clean-face direct-vent and linear units. Standing in front of a Heat & Glo 6000CLX or a Napoleon Vector 50 while they run tells you whether the wide ribbon flame or the tall traditional look belongs on your wall.

Local Means Low-Stakes

Because you're minutes away, there's no pressure to decide in one trip — swing by, look, leave, come back. Asheville sits on the natural-gas mains, so most of what's burning on our floor is already set up for your fuel; there's no orifice swap to imagine.

Our elevation keeps spring nights in the 20s, so heat output isn't a detail here. Stand close to a unit that's actually running and feel what rolls off the glass — that's the read a spec sheet can never give you.

Bring a Little Homework

Even five minutes away, a bit of prep sharpens the visit — bring photos of your fireplace or the wall you have in mind, rough measurements of the opening or space, and note whether you're on gas or propane. We pull the Buncombe County permit and handle the licensed gas side, so from display to install it's one accountable company. There's no obligation to buy. Call (828) 545-0525 to plan a visit.
