Absolutely. What's on the showroom floor is a curated sample, not the whole catalog — each brand we carry makes far more models, sizes, fronts, and finishes than any showroom can hold. If Napoleon, Heat & Glo, Valor, Mendota, or another of our eleven lines builds the unit you want, we'll spec the right one for your room and install it.
The Floor Is a Sample, Not the Catalog
Our Asheville showroom holds eighteen displays across eleven brands — enough to let you compare a Napoleon against a Valor against a Mendota in person. But no showroom on earth could hold every model those brands make.
Napoleon alone spans dozens of sizes and styles; Heat & Glo, Kozy Heat, Regency, and the rest each run deep catalogs of fireboxes, inserts, linear units, fronts, and finish options. What you see on the floor is a curated cross-section meant to show range, not the limit of what we can put in your home.
How a Special Order Actually Works
It starts the same way every install does — with a free in-home assessment. We measure the space, check your fuel (natural gas along the Asheville and Hendersonville mains, propane out in Fairview, Candler, Brevard, and the cabins), look at venting options, and talk through the look you're after.
From there we spec the exact model, size, and front that fits, place the order with the manufacturer, and handle the rest — bringing the unit out, installing it, pulling the permit, and meeting the county inspector. You get the unit you actually want rather than settling for whatever happened to be on display.
When We'll Point You Somewhere Else
Special-ordering doesn't mean we'll order anything without comment. If the model you've got your heart set on is oversized for the room, wrong for your fuel, or a harder fit than a comparable unit from another line we carry, we'll say so — we'd rather get you the right appliance than the most expensive one.
