It matters because propane burns hotter per unit and needs LP-specific orifices and pressures — a log set or insert has to be configured for the fuel you actually have, or it soots.

We sort that out first, connect the regulator and piping where it's propane, and coordinate the tank with your supplier so the flame burns clean from day one.

Hominy Valley air quality favors a sealed burn
