The open valley here is made for outdoor living, so plan the fire feature in from the start.
On propane, the tank sets your ceiling
Most Mills River lots are wide and rural, and a lot of them are on LP. If yours is, the tank capacity quietly limits everything — so size it for the house plus a future fire pit, grill, and patio heater, and place it where the delivery truck reaches it and the buried line runs cleanly to the patio.
If your lot does reach a natural-gas main, the meter is the number to size instead. Either fuel, get the buried, appropriately sized line in while the ground is open — trenching a finished yard later is the messy, costly path.
Design the outdoor scene while it's on paper
