Sylva is about 50 minutes west of our Asheville showroom, so scheduling the outdoor build early does double duty — it beats the spring rush and it lets us plan the trips efficiently. Book in winter and we'll handle the design, the buried gas line, and the county permit before the warm weather turns every yard in town into a job site.

At the western edge of our service area, Sylva builds take more coordination than a job fifteen minutes from the shop, and that's a reason to start over winter rather than in the crush of spring. With the design, quote, and permit settled ahead of time, we can sequence the trenching, fuel connection, and mason work into a tight, efficient schedule instead of stretching it across the peak season.
River-valley damp and the fuel side
The Tuckasegee valley's cold-air drainage and river moisture are hard on metal — the same damp that rusts dampers works on exposed outdoor hardware, so a sealed gas fire pit with solid burners is the durable call here. Sylva is mixed-fuel, so we run either a natural-gas or a buried propane line depending on your property, pressure-test it, and permit the work. Connecting that fuel is licensed work; the stone is your mason's, the gas is ours.
Ready before the season
