New construction, newer parts
Reems Creek's rapid new construction means a lot of Weaverville's Majestics are recent direct-vent gas units, and their common failures are predictable: a thermocouple, an ignition module, a blower motor, or a glass gasket. These parts are small, affordable, and — since natural gas serves the area — straightforward to service. Give us the model and serial number off the rating plate and we'll bring the right one, so a newer unit under warranty gets handled by a licensed contractor rather than voided by a DIY swap.
Downtown's original fireboxes
Older homes around downtown Weaverville often still run their original masonry fireboxes, some of them inefficient open designs with a Majestic gas conversion added later.
