First, find the model and serial number
Every Majestic has a metal rating plate — usually inside the lower control cavity behind the bottom louver, along a side wall of the firebox, or on the back. That model and serial number is everything: Majestic has made dozens of gas and wood units over the decades, and the right thermocouple, valve, blower, or glass depends on the exact model. Snap a clear photo of the plate before you call anyone. If you can't find it, we can usually identify the unit from photos of the firebox and controls.
Why not just grab a part off the internet
Two reasons. First, gas parts are model-specific and safety-critical — a valve or ignition module that's close enough is a gas leak or a no-light waiting to happen.
