Off-the-shelf vs. custom built-in
There are two ways to go. A freestanding fire table drops in place and looks finished the day it arrives. A built-in pit gets set into stone or a hardscape surround for a permanent, architectural look. On built-ins, we handle the gas and appliance side — the burner, the plumbing, the safe setup — and your mason or hardscaper builds the stone. We coordinate so the clearances and access panels are right.

The part only we can do — the gas line
Here's the piece a patio builder legally can't finish in North Carolina: the gas line. Running fuel to an outdoor fire feature means a buried, outdoor-rated line that we permit with your county and pressure-test before it ever lights. A hardscaper can build a gorgeous pit, but connecting it to propane or natural gas is licensed work.
