Logs are numbered by position
A Real Fyre set is several individual logs, each with its own shape, number, and place in the stack. That's precisely why one can be replaced on its own, the design assumes it. Over years of heat cycling, ceramic fiber can develop hairline cracks, which is normal wear.
If a log has cracked from a defect rather than abuse, the lifetime limited log warranty may cover the replacement, so it's worth checking your records before anything else.
Getting the exact match
The catch is precision. You need the exact set style and size, for example Charred American Oak in 24 inch, because guessing gives you a log with the wrong length, char, or color that stands out against the rest.
