Fairview's wooded rural lots make wood heat a natural choice, and many homes run on propane rather than a gas main — so the two fuels, and their very different setups, are usually the starting point. Propane needs its own orifices and pressures; a wood appliance needs a sound, correctly sized flue. We confirm which you have and what your chimney can handle on site, because a photo can't measure a propane run or read a liner's condition.
Creosote is a site-visit reason
On wood-burning properties here, creosote buildup is the leading cause of chimney fires when the fall sweep gets skipped, and its state is only knowable up close.
