Can I put gas logs in my Heatilator wood-burning fireplace?
In Weaverville it depends which house you're in. Older downtown homes tend to have original masonry fireboxes that accept a vented gas log set; the newer Reems Creek builds often have factory-made boxes that may not be rated for logs at all.
