The regulator and the tank both matter
On propane, two limits stack: the regulator's rated flow and the tank's ability to vaporize enough propane on a cold night. A big outdoor burner tests both. We size the regulator — often a two-stage setup — on the LP side, and coordinate tank sizing with your propane supplier if the demand calls for a larger tank. Plan it before entertaining season
