Can you put stone veneer over a brick fireplace?
Yes — brick is one of the best bases for stone veneer, and Leicester has plenty of it around hard-working wood and propane fireplaces. Brick is non-combustible and load-bearing, so thin stone bonds straight over a sound face. Out here on rural properties, we plan the reface around your fuel — propane or wood — rather than assuming a gas main that isn't there.
Fuel comes first out here
