Candler is growing fast, and the fuel picture grows with it: the developed Enka-Candler corridor has natural-gas service, but out on the larger lots in Hominy Valley and toward Pisgah Highway you're in propane country. Settling which one you're on is the first thing the free estimate does, because it drives the appliance, the orifices, and the line work — propane burns hotter per unit and a wrong-fuel setup soots. You can't sort that over the phone, which is exactly why the on-site visit is free.

On the estimate we weigh a sealed insert or a direct-vent upgrade — and Hominy Valley's natural bowl, which can trap air, makes a clean-burning sealed appliance especially attractive. We pull the permit with Buncombe County and meet the inspector so the upgrade is documented.

For a fast-growing subdivision home, the free visit is also where we separate a real heating upgrade from a cosmetic swap — many owners want the decorative builder box to actually warm the room, and a sealed insert or direct-vent unit delivers that. Out in Hominy Valley on propane, we'll additionally confirm the tank and pressure can carry a bigger appliance before recommending one, so the plan fits the fuel rather than fighting it.
