Mars Hill splits between the university-area rentals closer in and the rural homes out Spring Creek and Gabriels Creek, and the free estimate looks different for each. Out in the valleys many homes lean on propane or wood, so the visit checks the tank, regulator, and pressure or looks at the wood setup and chimney; nearer town the question is simpler. We handle the permit with your Madison County office and meet the inspector so the work is on record.

Because the fuel picture changes so sharply between town and the Spring Creek valleys, the free estimate is where we keep you from buying the wrong appliance — a natural-gas unit is no use on a propane property, and a wrong-fuel setup soots and underperforms. For rural homes already burning wood, we'll weigh whether a stove or insert with a proper chimney is the better path than adding gas at all; the point is the right heat for your spot, not the biggest sale.
