Where can I get replacement parts for a Kozy Heat fireplace?
Right here in Asheville, since we are the Kozy Heat dealer and our showroom at 629 Emma Rd in West Asheville is where the parts get sourced. Kozy Heat is built by Hussong Manufacturing in Minnesota and supported through its dealer network, not off a store shelf, so give us the model and serial and we match the correct OEM piece.
Two kinds of Asheville home, two kinds of part
The original masonry fireboxes in Montford and North Asheville usually take a Chaska 25L insert, a natural-gas unit that comes with its blower standard, and that blower is the part we replace most as the fan logs hours through a long mountain heating season. Newer South and West Asheville builds tend to run direct-vent Kozy Heats set into clean-face walls, where an ignition component, thermocouple, or gas valve is the more common call.
Asheville sits squarely on the natural-gas mains, so most local Kozy Heats burn NG. That matters, because a propane version of the same model uses different orifices and pressures and the parts are not interchangeable. Your serial number tells us exactly which you own before anything is ordered.
The numbers off the rating plate
On a Kozy Heat the plate lives behind the lower louver or inside the control-access area near the valve. Send a clear photo of it and of the failed part, and we identify the exact OEM component before a truck rolls.
Being headquartered here means common blowers, thermocouples, and ignition parts are usually on the shelf, and most repairs close in a single visit. Diagnosis, part, and install come from one licensed gas contractor, not a parts counter and a separate handyman.
One company, warranty or not
Whether your Kozy Heat is still under its limited lifetime coverage or long past it, the process is the same: we diagnose it, source the OEM part, and install it as one accountable licensed company. There is no handing you off to a counter and telling you to find someone to fit the piece. Didn't buy it from us? We still service it, along with every major hearth brand. Call (828) 545-0525.
