Clyde's housing is largely 1960s-to-'80s ranch-style, and a lot of those fireplaces feel every one of their years. A vented Real Fyre set is an easy way to modernize the look — a tall, hand-painted flame cast from real oak — without tearing out the firebox. If the old box is a candidate for a full upgrade to real heat, we'll also show you a sealed insert; a Real Fyre set is ambiance first, since with the damper open most of the heat goes up the flue rather than into the room.
