Propane burns hotter per cubic foot and runs a higher pressure than natural gas, so it needs tighter orifices and its own regulator setting. Getting it right is licensed work: a showroom can sell the firebox, but connecting and adjusting the fuel is our lane. We confirm what's in your line, install the correct orifices, set the manifold pressure, permit the job with Haywood County, and pressure-test before we hand it over.
