In Weaverville, Steady Flame is your Real Fyre source — 15 minutes south of our Asheville showroom. Whether you're in a new Reems Creek build or an older downtown home, we display the Charred American Oak set, size it to your firebox, and run the licensed natural-gas line. Real Fyre is dealer-only, never shipped. Call (828) 545-0525.
Two kinds of Weaverville homes
Weaverville is splitting into two housing stories, and they call for different answers. The older houses around downtown often have original masonry fireboxes that are inefficient as heaters but perfect for a vented Real Fyre set — you keep the character and gain a tall, hand-painted flame cast from real oak. The wave of new construction out Reems Creek tends toward sealed clean-face gas, and if a home was built without a chimney, we'll walk you through whether a log set even fits or a direct-vent unit makes more sense.
Ambiance, honestly
A Real Fyre set is decorative first. With the damper open — which vented logs require — most of the heat goes up the flue, so it's the look of a wood fire, not a primary heater. Weaverville's north-facing valley is slow to warm in spring, so if you want real room heat on those long cool evenings, we'll point you to a sealed insert. We'd rather match you to the right appliance than the priciest one, every time.
Permitted and pressure-tested
We pull the Buncombe County permit, meet the inspector, and pressure-test every line we run. Connecting an appliance to gas is licensed work in North Carolina — a builder or mason can frame a beautiful surround but can't legally make it burn, and unpermitted work can jeopardize your insurance.
