My house doesn't have natural gas service — can I still get a permanently plumbed fire pit with a dedicated propane tank?
Absolutely — Brevard is propane country. Out here, a dedicated tank feeding a permanently plumbed pit is simply how fire features get their fuel, from downtown lots to the cabins up toward Connestee Falls and Sherwood Forest. We run and pressure-test the buried, outdoor-rated line from the tank; your propane supplier owns, places, and fills the vessel itself.
Propane is the default in Transylvania County
The Asheville and Hendersonville corridors have natural-gas mains; Brevard mostly doesn't, and that's not a problem to work around — it's the norm. A permanently plumbed propane pit performs identically to a natural-gas one, running off a tank on your property. If you already keep propane for the house, we can frequently branch the pit off that existing tank instead of setting a second.

The tank stays with your propane company; everything from the regulator forward is licensed gas work.
