My house doesn't have natural gas service — can I still get a permanently plumbed fire pit with a dedicated propane tank?
Absolutely — Candler is propane country. Out through Hominy Valley and Enka-Candler, homes run on propane rather than a gas main, so a dedicated tank feeding a permanently plumbed pit is simply the standard here. We run and pressure-test the buried, outdoor-rated line from the tank; your propane supplier owns, places, and fills the vessel itself.

The natural-gas mains follow the Asheville and Hendersonville corridors; Candler mostly runs on propane, and that's the norm, not a workaround to solve. A permanently plumbed propane pit performs exactly like a natural-gas one, fed from a tank on your property. In Candler's fast-growing subdivisions, many homes already keep propane — in which case we can frequently branch the pit off that existing tank instead of adding a second.

A properly spec'd propane fire pit burns clean and controllable — set correctly for LP, it won't soot or run rich the way a wrong-fuel setup does.
