On these steep hillside lots — and the narrow downtown built right against the mountainside — a permanently plumbed propane pit is very doable, but tank siting and line routing take planning. We handle the buried outdoor-rated run and pressure-test it; your propane supplier owns and fills the tank.
Steep ground, careful routing
Marshall's hillside properties and tight lots along the French Broad gorge mean the tank can't always sit where you'd want it, and the buried line often has to follow a grade to reach the pit. That's exactly the kind of routing we plan on a walk-through: where the vessel lands within reach of the fill truck, how the outdoor-rated line runs across the slope at proper depth, and how it's protected and pressure-tested. Limited access is a solvable problem — it just wants a plan up front.

Mixed fuel, mostly propane past the line
Some Marshall addresses reach a main; many, especially up the hillsides and out of town, run on propane. A fixed pit off a dedicated tank lights and burns just like a natural-gas one. Already on propane for the house? We can often tie the pit into that tank.
