Will fireplace installers install a unit I bought somewhere else?
In Swannanoa, a wave of rebuilds and renovations after the storm has us doing more new fireplace and stove installs than ever — and we install what we supply. When a home is being put back together, the last thing it needs is a self-bought unit no one fully owns. Already bought one? Call (828) 545-0525.
A rebuild is the wrong time to split accountability
Grovemont's 1940s-to-'60s homes are being renovated and rebuilt across the valley, and a fireplace or stove going into that work is part of a permitted project, not a loose purchase. If you supply the appliance and we supply the gas line and venting, the seam between the manufacturer's warranty and our workmanship guarantee lands right in the middle of your fresh install. We'd rather own the whole thing — appliance, line, vent, Buncombe County permit, and inspection.
River-valley fog, cold-air pooling, and damp air are hard on masonry here, so any new insert or liner has to be matched to the true condition of the chimney it's going into — a judgment made on site, not on a listing.
Repair stays wide open
Service isn't restricted at all. We repair every major hearth brand across Swannanoa Village, Bee Tree, and the Owen area whether we installed the unit or found it in the house.
So an existing fireplace is covered for maintenance and repair. It's only new installs of outside-purchased appliances where we hold back, because connecting fuel is licensed work we stand behind. Fifteen minutes east of the showroom — call (828) 545-0525.
