Many Backgrounds. One Standard.
Weaverville, North Carolina

What does the whole process look like from showroom visit to finished installation?

Weaverville splits two ways — new Reems Creek construction and older downtown homes with tired masonry fireboxes — and the process meets both. You start at the showroom or with a free in-home assessment, get a written quote, place a deposit so we order the appliance and pull the Buncombe County permit, then we install, most gas jobs in a day.

New builds and old fireboxes need different quotes

In the Reems Creek subdivisions we're often adding a clean-face gas fireplace to a room designed for it — direct-vent out a sidewall, no chimney needed, a Napoleon Ascent 36 or Heatilator Novus. Downtown Weaverville's older homes usually have original masonry fireboxes running a net heat loss; there a sealed insert with a liner turns the hole in the wall into a real heater.

The assessment tells us which path fits, and the written quote covers appliance, venting, gas line, Buncombe permit, and haul-off — no upselling.

Natural gas keeps it simple, the north valley keeps it cool

Weaverville sits on the natural-gas mains, so fuel rarely complicates the job. Its north-facing valley position means slower spring warm-ups than Asheville, so folks run the hearth later into the year — one more reason to order before you're leaning on it. Appliance lead time depends on model and season.

We're 15 minutes north of the Asheville showroom, so trips between assessment, install, and inspection stay short.

Install day

We protect floors, run and pressure-test the gas line, set the appliance and venting, and clean up; most gas installs finish in a day. The Buncombe inspector signs off the gas work, and before we leave we light it with you and show you the controls. Manufacturer's warranty plus our workmanship guarantee — (828) 545-0525.
