Many homes here are 1960s-to-80s ranches with dated fireplaces ripe for an insert upgrade, so we disconnect and cap the fuel the licensed way, work the old firebox or insert loose, and take it with us. You won't be left figuring out how to move it. The haul's included.
Ranch-era fireboxes, ready to upgrade
Clyde's housing skews to 1960s-through-80s ranch-style builds, and the dated fireplaces in them are prime candidates for a modern insert that actually heats. When we remove the old setup, the fuel comes first: natural gas gets shut off and capped at the valve, propane gets disconnected and capped with the tank left to your supplier. That capping is licensed work in North Carolina — a mason or a handyman legally can't do it — which is why the crew pulling your old unit is the one connecting the new one.

The old firebox or insert plus the demo debris rides out on our truck — we're about twenty-five minutes west of Emma Rd.
