Will the installers remove and haul away my old fireplace or stove?
Yes — for Leicester replacements, removing and hauling off the old fireplace or stove comes with the install. Out on these rural properties it's usually a wood stove or a propane appliance being retired, so we break the flue connection or cap the propane line the licensed way, pull the old unit, and load it out. It's part of the job, not an add-on.
Wood and propane country
Leicester is rural large-lot land where wood heat stays popular and many homes run on propane rather than a gas main — and some remote properties have limited electrical capacity, which is part of why non-electric heat holds on here. Removal follows the fuel. A wood stove or insert gets broken free of its flue or liner; a propane appliance gets disconnected and capped, with the tank left to your supplier. Capping a propane line is licensed gas work, so it stays with our install crew rather than getting handed off.
Old stoves worth keeping

If you'd like to keep yours, just tell us before install day and we'll set it aside clean instead of loading it out. If it's truly done, it goes on the truck with the demo debris; at fifteen minutes west of Emma Rd, it's off your property the same day.
Permit and the one exception
For the new install we pull the Buncombe County permit and meet the inspector. The single exception to the haul is a full masonry teardown — pulling out the brick structure itself is a mason's job, and we'll tell you before install day if that's what your project needs.
