Can I put gas logs in a Superior or Majestic wood-burning fireplace?
In Brevard, the honest answer is a qualified yes — a true wood-burning Superior or Majestic can take a vented gas log set, but in a town that catches 80-plus inches of rain a year, the condition of your chimney decides everything. Cracked crowns, spalled brick, and rusted dampers are common here, and a vented set only belongs in a flue that's still sound.
Water is the first thing we check
